Date and Location
The retreat will be a full weekend event, beginning Friday evening, September 11th through Sunday early afternoon, September 13th.
Our retreat will take place at Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds in Occidental, CA. We will be staying in cozy cabins nestled among the grand redwoods.
Speaker
This year’s retreat speaker is Alton To!
We are thrilled to have Alton joining us for the weekend. Alton serves as a Staff Elder at Berean Mission Church and has faithfully shepherded God’s people in the Bay Area for many years. A graduate of UC San Diego and The Master’s Seminary (M.Div.), Alton is known for his faithful, Christ-centered preaching, deep love for God’s Word, and heart for equipping believers to grow in their walk with Christ. We are confident his teaching will both challenge and encourage us, and we can’t wait to spend the weekend learning together under his ministry.

Accommodations
Pricing includes 2 nights lodging and 5 meals.
Cabins are heated and have hardwood floors, with separate Men's/Women's restrooms a short distance from the cabins.
Please be sure to bring your own linens/bedding for twin mattress bunk beds.
Packing List
The weather is forecasted to be 52°F Low, 82°F High during the retreat weekend.
Here is a suggested list of things to bring:
Bible
Notebook and writing utensil
Comfortable clothes and shoes, including athletic gear
Warm clothes for the evening
You will need to bring your own bedding, whether that be a sleeping bag or sheets and pillow!
Toiletries and shower essentials (shampoo, soap, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers)
Towel
Swimsuit, if using the pool:
Men - please wear appropriate swim trunks or board shorts and a dark color t-shirt or swim-shirt
Ladies - please wear a one-piece swimsuit, tankini, or dark color t-shirt and shortsWater bottle
Ear plugs
Sunscreen and hat
Phone charger
Board games
A good attitude and a heart ready to learn and fellowship
Note: Cabin rooms will be open all day and night, so please do not bring valuables like work laptops unless you have to. We will also have a place to store these items that will be monitored by the retreat team.
