We meet every Sunday at 10am at Mission College in the
Hospitality Management Building

What can I expect on a Sunday morning?

You can expect to meet people who are striving to love God with all their heart and striving to love others deeply. We hope you’ll encounter the love of Jesus Christ through the people you meet here.

Each Sunday morning, we focus on four major elements of worship: singing, preaching, prayer and fellowship. We normally open our worship services by singing praise songs to God. Then one of our leaders, usually Pastor Chris, preaches an expository sermon, which is a message that seeks to explain a portion of the Bible and show its relevance and applicability to our lives. Our leaders also lead us in a time of prayer where we praise and thank God and ask Him for His blessings and guidance. Lastly, we have a time of fellowship where we get to know each other better, encourage each other in the faith, and live out what it means to be the family of God.

How can I get more involved?

Here are a few ways to get more involved:

You can check out one of our small groups, which will help you get to know a few people from our church on a deeper level. Contact Elliot (elliot.kang@citylightbible.org) for more info.

Pastor Chris would love to buy you a cup of coffee and hang out! Shoot him an email at chris.gee@citylightbible.org.

If you are a young adult, you can check out our young adults group on Thursday nights at 7 pm. Contact Tyler (t.cam36@gmail) for more info.

If you are a college student, you can check out Campus Light on Friday nights at 7 pm at Santa Clara University. Contact Georgie (mathews.georgie@gmail.com) for more info.

Is there children’s ministry?

Yes! We have a children’s ministry available for infants through 5th grade. We prioritize both the safety of our children and teaching them the truth of God’s Word. Our children’s ministry volunteers are members of our church, background-checked, and trained to work with children. We also use the latest technology for our check-in system. Each Sunday, our children participate in singing, Bible story time, games, and arts and crafts.
