About Elliot
Elliot oversees our small group ministry, providing training and guidance to the small group leaders throughout the year. He also provides leadership for the high-level administration of the church, which includes its finances.
After growing up in a churchgoing family, Elliot became a Christian during his freshman year at UCLA (go Bruins!) after God showed him that even though he believed in the facts of the gospel, he had not submitted his heart and life to Jesus' leadership. While at UCLA, he studied statistics, met his wife Sophia, and went on many short-term missions trips to Malawi, Africa. Elliot and Sophia lived in Malawi for a year to support the ministry of Central African Preaching Academy, which trains pastors to study, practice, and teach God's Word. Since returning to the US, Elliot works for Amazon as a technical program manager.
In his free time, you’ll find Elliot making coffee, baking, and hanging out with Sophia and their daughter Lucy. Or he'll be reading or watching YouTube videos about one of his many, many interests, including but not limited to: coffee, woodworking, fountain pens, photography, and music.
